What are FX Settlement Costs?

These are costs, fees and variances incurred while buying foreign exchange and settling this transaction. As per State Bank guidelines, financial institutions are required to fulfill their obligations to foreign card schemes by purchasing available foreign currency from authorized dealers only. This cost is also applicable to international transactions denominated in PKR.
