Why would a customer file a chargeback?

A customer whose card has been charged can file a dispute for a number of reasons. The most common are:

I. The transaction is fraudulent: The card holder never used the card to purchase goods from you.

II. Shipping, pricing or delivery issues: The customer never received the product, or the amount charged differs from that advertised on your store.

III. Product defects or dissatisfaction with the product: The product received by the customer was defective or a different product was shipped than which was advertised.
