Do I have to pay a fee for issuing refunds?
In the event that the refund was issued as a result of a chargeback from an issuer bank, then there is a dispute settlement fee charged by the card network or the issuer bank.
If you issue a refund after settling the dispute directly with the customer (and the issuing bank or card network is not involved) then generally there is no additional charge. If you used bank transfer (IBFT) to transfer the partial or full refunded amount back to the customer then this will carry normal IBFT charges. If your customer is also on NayaPay and you transferred the refund using the NayaPay ID then there is no charge.
