What user roles are available in the NayaPay Business portal?

Each user role in NayaPay Business comes with specific permissions that define what users can and cannot do. Here’s a breakdown of the key roles:

  • Admins

Admins are the super-users with unrestricted access to the NayaPay Business account. They oversee all account operations, including bills, accounts, transactions, cards, requests, user roles, profiles, and settings. Admins can also invite users as well as edit and revoke permissions.

  • Approvers

Approvers can review and authorize card usage as well as transaction requests, such as fund transfers or bill payments, according to company policy. However, they do not have access to the company-wide financial data. This role is best-suited for managers overseeing team spending and preventing unauthorized transactions.

  • Finance

Finance users can view the company’s finances, including bills, accounts, and transactions, facilitating their accounting and financial analysis tasks. They can initiate transactions and bill payments, which are then submitted for approval. Additionally, they can view their own transaction details, associated monthly limits, current balance, and failed transactions. This role is ideal for employees who need access to company-wide financial data for reporting and reconciliation.

  • Card Owners

Card Owners have the most limited access and can only manage personal card usage and expenses. They are able to view their transaction details, associated monthly limits, current balance, and failed transactions. This is the most common role with restricted access to the company's dashboard. It is best-suited for employees who need a card for corporate expenses but do not require access to wider company data.
